IMIWN sTLR2 RAPID | New Opportunities in Sepsis Management

IMIWN sTLR2 RAPID Test - New Opportunities for Rapid Sepsis Diagnostics

Developed and manufactured in the UK by J R Biomedical Limited following collaboration with Cardiff University, the IMIWN sTLR2 RAPID test is an in vitro diagnostic immunochromatographic (lateral-flow) assay for the detection of human soluble Toll-like receptor 2 (sTLR2) in plasma and whole blood - a biomarker of sepsis and other inflammatory conditions.

As a functional biomarker of innate immune system activation, the detection of sTLR2 in plasma can help provide earlier, and additional information to that of traditional biomarkers such as CRP and PCT, providing scientists and clinicians with a new, potentially transformative tool.

The rapid test provides a qualitative/semi-quantitative result in 10 minutes, is certified for clinical use (UKCA) in Great Britain, and available for research use elsewhere.

Strategic partnership oportunities

As well as the rapid test, an ELISA using the same antibody pair is available for quantitative results, together with a proprietary portfolio of monoclonal and polyclonal anti-human sTLR2 antibodies for research and commercial applications.
