MotilityCount ApS is a Danish company, founded in 2011 by entrepreneurs and scientists with many years of experience in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

MotilityCount developed the patented SwimCount Sperm Quality Test, a simple home test kt for the prelimiary screening of male fertility, based on the 'swim-up' principle for quantifying progressive motile sperm cells (PMSCs).

The company also developed and manufactured SwimCount Sperm Care, a dietary supplement for healthy male fertility, and the SwimCount Harvester which is an innovative microfluidic purification method for clinical use, that can help improve treatment outcomes in IUI, IVF, and ICSI. Additionally, MotilityCount is behind the VetCount Harvester and the PetCount Sperm Quality Test

MotilityCount is funded by private investors, the Danish foundation Welfare Tech Invest as well as the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO).
